Turkish halloumi and pomegranate salad
The tart, exotic flavours in the salad are enhanced by the creamy, nuttiness of the fried halloumi cheese. A wonderful combination.

Turkish halloumi and pomegranate salad
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- 2 tablespoon light olive oil
- 1/3 cup pomegranate pulp
- 1/4 cup firmly packed fresh mint leaves
- 2 green onions, sliced thinly
- 125 gram mizuna
- 1 medium_piece fennel, trimmed, sliced thinly
- 360 gram halloumi cheese, sliced thickly
Method
Turkish halloumi and pomegranate salad
- 1Combine juice, oil, pulp, mint, onion, mizuna and fennel in large bowl.
- 2Brown cheese, both sides, in large oiled frying pan. Serve salad topped with cheese.
Notes
You will need one large pomegranate for this recipe.
