Thai red curry paste

Deliciously fragrant and spicy, this Thai-style red curry paste is the perfect base for many savoury Asian dishes.

Thai red curry paste
  • 1 teaspoon shrimp paste
  • 1 long red chilli, fresh
  • 5 medium dried chillies, deseeded , soaked in boiling water and drained
  • 2 tablespoon fresh galangal, roughly chopped
  • 4 tablespoon fresh lemongrass, thinly sliced
  • 2 teaspoon grated lime zest
  • 4 fresh coriander roots, roughly chopped
  • 4 clove garlic, crushed
