Strawberry porridge

Strawberry porridge
  • 4 cup reduced-fat milk, plus extra to serve (optional)
  • 1 1/2 cup rolled oats
  • 2 punnet strawberries, hulled, quartered
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon sugar

    In a saucepan, combine milk and oats. Bring to the boil over a medium heat, stirring constantly.

    Reduce the heat to low. Stir in strawberries. Simmer for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until strawberries are cooked to your liking. Remove from heat.

    Spoon into 4 bowls. Sprinkle evenly with cinnamon sugar. Pour over extra milk, if using, to serve.
