Sticky pork chops

Give the humble pork chop a Chinese-style twist and it can still go from the stove to the table in less than 30 minutes.

Method

1.Preheat oven to 220°C/200°C fan forced. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Place pumpkin on prepared tray. Drizzle with half the oil. Season with salt and pepper. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until tender.
2.Meanwhile, combine hoisin, honey and 1 tablespoon cold water in a small jug.
3.Heat remaining oil in a large frying pan over moderately high heat. Add pork; cook for 5 minutes each side or until brown and cooked. Add hoisin mixture to pan; cook and turn pork, for 2-8 minutes or until glazed.
4.Arrange pumpkin and greens on plates. Top with pork, then serve drizzled with pan juices.

You can also use pork ribs or lamb chops; cooking times will vary. This dish also tastes great served with steamed rice or fresh rice noodles.
