Steamed asian greens with char siu sauce
- 350 gram broccolini, trimmed
- 150 gram snow peas, trimmed
- 2 baby buk choy, halved
- 1 fresh long red chilli, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoon char siu sauce
- 2 teaspoon sesame oil
- 1 tablespoon toasted sesame seeds
- 1 tablespoon peanut oil
Method
Steamed asian greens with char siu sauce
- 1Layer broccolini, snow peas, baby buk choy and red chilli in a large baking-paper-lined bamboo steamer. Steam, covered, over a large wok of simmering water about 5 minutes or until vegetables are just tender.
- 2Combine vegetables, char siu sauce and sesame oil in a large bowl. Heat peanut oil in a small saucepan until hot; pour oil over vegetable mixture then toss to combine. Serve sprinkled with toasted sesame seeds.
