Spiced ham and avocado wrap

This flavour-packed recipe is perfect for an on-the-go lunch or light dinner. The combination of ham and avocado in a wholegrain wrap also makes a nutritious after school snack for kids.

Ingredients

Spiced ham and avocado wrap
  • 1/2 small avocado (100g), sliced thinly lengthways
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon lime juice
  • 2 x 20cm wholegrain wraps
  • 6 thin slices light ham (60g)
  • 100 gram drained char-grilled capsicum (bell pepper)
  • 60 gram butter (boston) lettuce leaves
  • 2 tablespoon spicy tomato salsa

Method

    Combine avocado, spices and juice in a small bowl. Arrange over tortillas.

    Top tortillas with ham, capsicum, lettuce and salsa. Roll to enclose filling.

Notes

You could also use mountain bread or lavash. This is a good work lunch, you can store the ingredients in separate containers and assemble the wrap just before serving.
