Three types of cheese added to mashed potatoes adds an extra special touch to this creamy mash.

Ingredients

Special-occasion mash
  • 1 kilogram sebago potatoes, peeled, chopped coarsely
  • 1 cup (250g) mascarpone cheese
  • 1 cup (80g) parmesan cheese, finely grated
  • 2/3 cup (80g) mozzarella cheese, finely grated
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) hot milk

Method

Special-occasion mash
  • 1
    Boil, steam or microwave potato until tender, drain. Mash potato in large bowl with remaining ingredients.

Notes

You can also use coliban or pink-eye potatoes for this recipe.
