Smoky bean and chorizo tomato soup

Hot, smoky and packed full of delicious flavours, this hearty bean and chorizo tomato soup is perfect served with a slice of thick toasted bread for a quick and tasty Winter dish.

Smoky bean and chorizo tomato soup
  • 2 chorizo sausages, halved lengthways, sliced
  • 1 onion, finely chopped
  • 2 420g cans condensed tomato soup
  • 2 400g cans cannellini beans, drained, rinsed
  • 2 cup water
  • 2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • parsley, to serve
  • toasted crusty bread, to serve

    Heat a non-stick saucepan on medium. Add chorizo and onion. Cook, stirring, 5 minutes, until onion is soft. Add tomato soup, beans and water. Bring to boil. Stir in smoked paprika; season to taste.

    Sprinkle with parsley. Serve with slices of toasted crusty bread.


This soup can be made with any variety of canned beans.
