6 medium (900g) red delicious apples, peeled, sliced
1/2 cup (125ml) brandy

Combine all ingredients in a medium pan. Bring to a boil; then reduce the heat, simmer, covered, for about 10 minutes. Stir, cook, uncovered, for about 20 minutes until thickened.
