Sausage and cannellini bean bake
- 8 thick pork sausages (1kg)
- 2 brown onions (300g), thinly sliced
- 400 gram canned undrained diced tomatoes
- 2 teaspoon finely chopped fresh thyme
- 420 gram canned rinsed, drained cannellini beans
- 3 slices white bread, torn into small pieces
Method
Sausage and cannellini bean bake
- 1Preheat oven to 220°C/425°F. Cook pork sausages in heated oiled medium flameproof dish, on stove top, until browned. Remove from dish.
- 2Cook onions in same heated dish, stirring, until browned.
- 3Return sausages to dish with tomatoes, half the thyme and cannellini beans. Sprinkle bread over sausages with remaining thyme. Bake, in oven, about 15 minutes or until heated through.
