Method

1.Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan-forced). Grease deep 1-litre (4-cup) ovenproof dish.
2.Combine sifted flour, sugar, butter and milk in medium bowl. Pour mixture into dish
3.Make caramel sauce. Combine ingredients in small saucepan, stir over medium heat, without boiling, until smooth
4.Pour sauce slowly over back of a spoon evenly over mixture in dish. Bake pudding about 50 minutes. Stand 10 minutes before serving
