Satisfy your sweet cravings with this deliciously healthy raw turkish bark. Packed full of healthy ingedients, this is perfect for dessert or a guilt-free treat.
1.Grease a 20cm x 30cm slice pan; line base and sides with baking paper, extending paper 5cm over long sides of pan.
2.Place the oil, sifted cacao and salt in a medium bowl. Whisk to combine. Gradually add the syrup, whisking to combine.
3.Spread mixture evenly into pan. Scatter with nuts, cherries and rose petals. Refrigerate until set. Break into shards to serve.
Don’t worry if the bark has a slight whitish look to it, this is simply the coconut fat, but it won’t affect the taste. Because of the low melting point of the coconut oil, the bark should always be stored in the fridge otherwise it will be too soft to handle.
