Oysters with pickled lemon
Oysters always make a wonderful starter or shared platter for parties, try serving up half natural and half dressed with our pickled lemon dressing.

Oysters with pickled lemon
- 1 lemon
- 2 tablespoon white wine vinegar
- 2 tablespoon olive oil
- 2 shallots, chopped finely
- 2 tablespoon finely chopped chives
- 24 rock oysters, on the half shell
Method
Oysters with pickled lemon
- 1Halve lemon lengthways, cut each half into 1cm wedges, slice thinly crossways.
- 2Combine lemon, vinegar, oil, shallot and chives in small bowl; stand 10 minutes.
- 3Top oysters with pickled lemon mixture. Serve immediately.
