Oysters with mirin and cucumber

Spice up a platter of plump oysters with cucumber and piquant mirin dressing.

Oysters with mirin and cucumber
  • 2 tablespoon mirin
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon lime juice
  • 1 lebanese cucumber
  • 3 green onions
  • 48 oysters
  • black pepper

    Whisk mirin, soy sauce and lime juice in small bowl.

    Peel cucumber randomly, halve lengthways; remove seeds, dice finely. Slice 3 green onions diagonally.

    Place 48 oysters on the half shell on serving platter or plates. Drizzle mirin dressing over oysters; sprinkle with cucumber, onion and freshly ground black pepper.
