Maple syrup butter cookies
  • 125 gram butter, softened
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup (80ml) maple syrup
  • 3/4 cup (110g) plain flour
  • 1/4 cup (35g) cornflour

    Preheat oven to 180°C. Grease oven trays and line with baking paper.

    Beat butter, extract and syrup in small bowl with electric mixer until light and fluffy. Stir in combined sifted flours.

    Spoon mixture into piping bag fitted with 1cm fluted tube.

    Pipe stars about 3cm apart onto trays. Bake about 15 minutes. Cool cookies on trays.
