Ingredients: 1 maraschino cherry; 1 wedge of orange; 1/2 cup ice cubes; 45 millilitre whiskey; 15 millilitre sweet vermouth; dash of angostura bitters

1 wedge of orange

1/2 cup ice cubes

45 millilitre whiskey

15 millilitre sweet vermouth

dash of angostura bitters

Method

1.1 maraschino cherry into chilled 120ml martini glass, rub the cut edge of an orange over the rim.

2.Into a mixing glass place 1/2 cup ice cubes, whiskey, sweet vermouth and dash of angostura, stir gently. Strain into glass.
