Lamb teriyaki with broccolini
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 800 gram lamb strips
  • 4 green onions, coarsely chopped
  • 3 centimetre piece fresh ginger (15 grams), grated
  • 175 gram broccolini, coarsely chopped
  • 150 gram green beans, trimmed, halved crossways
  • 1/3 cup (80 millilitres) teriyaki sauce
  • 2 tablespoon honey
  • 2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon roasted sesame seeds

Method

    Heat half the vegetable oil in wok; stir-fry lamb, in batches, until browned.

    Heat remaining vegetable oil in wok; stir-fry onion and ginger until onion softens. Add broccolini and beans; stir-fry until vegetables are tender. Remove from wok.

    Add sauce, honey and sesame oil to wok; bring to the boil. Boil, uncovered, about 3 minutes or until sauce thickens slightly. Return lamb and vegetables to wok; stir-fry until hot. Sprinkle with seeds.
