Ingredients
1 tablespoon oil
1 red onion, finely sliced
2 cup finely shredded red cabbage
1 apple, peeled, cored, grated
1 pinch ground cloves
1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
1 teaspoon sugar
2 kransky sausages, halved lengthways
4 long par-baked rolls, cooked, split
60 gram spinach leaves
wholegrain mustard, to serve
Method
1. Heat oil in a large frying pan on medium.
2. Saute onion 4-5 minutes, until tender. Add cabbage; cook 2-3 minutes, until wilted. Stir through apple and cloves; cook a further 5 minutes.
3. Add vinegar and sugar. Season to taste; cook a further 3-4 minutes.
4. Meanwhile, preheat a char-grill or barbecue plate on high. Spray sausages with oil; char-grill 2-3 minutes, until heated through.
5. Fill rolls with cabbage mixture. spinach and kransky. Serve accompanied with mustard.
Cook rolls following packet instructions. If preferred, use other rolls of choice.
