Kalamata olive and herb pasta
  • 400 gram farfalle pasta
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 clove garlic, finely chopped
  • 300 gram woolworths select kalamata pitted olives, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon woolworths select chilli flakes
  • 1/2 cup basil, chopped, plus extra to serve
  • 1/2 cup parsley, chopped
  • grated parmesan, to serve

    Cook pasta in a large saucepan of boiling water following packet instructions until al dente. Drain well, return to pan.

    Meanwhile, heat olive oil in a large frying pan on medium. Sauté garlic for 1 minute, until fragrant (being careful not to burn). Add olives and chilli, and cook for 1 minute. Remove from heat.

    Add olive mixture to hot pasta with herbs. Season to taste and toss well. Serve sprinkled with the extra basil and the parmesan.
