Ingredients

Insalata caprese
  • 2 ripe large tomatoes
  • 125 gram buffalo mozzarella
  • small basil leaves
  • extra virgin olive oil
  • salt and pepper

Method

Insalata caprese
  • 1
    Slice the tomatoes and mozzarella and arrange, alternately, on a serving plate so that they overlap slightly.

    Arrange small fresh basil leaves on top. Season with salt and fresh ground pepper.

    Drizzle with a generous amount of extra virgin olive oil and serve.
