Honey soy chicken skewers
  • 1/4 cup (60ml) soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 12 (900g) chicken tenderloins

    In a small saucepan, combine sauce, honey and oil. Stir over medium heat until combined. Stir in seeds.

    Thread each tenderloin onto a skewer. Brush skewers with half the sauce. Cook skewers, in batches, in heated oiled grill pan (or grill or barbecue) until chicken is cooked. Serve skewers with remaining sauce.


You need 12 bamboo skewers for this recipe. Soak them in cold water for at least an hour before using to prevent them from scorching during cooking.
