Grilled plums with cinnamon cream

Grilled plums with cinnamon cream
  • 1/4 cup (70g) yoghurt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla bean paste
  • caster sugar
  • 150 millilitre (2/3 cup) thickened cream, whipped
  • 8 (600g) plums, halved, stoned removed
  • 1/3 cup (75g) raw caster sugar

    Combine yoghurt, cinnamon, vanilla bean paste and sugar in a medium bowl. Fold through whipped cream. Cover with plastic wrap; refrigerate until ready to serve.

    Place plum halves, cut side up, on a baking tray and sprinkle with sugar. Cook under a preheated grill 5-8 minutes, or until plums are soft and sugar has melted.

    Serve warm plums with cinnamon cream.
