Green goddess shake

Time poor in the mornings? Try this green smoothie made with avocado, apple and lactose free yoghourt. It'll give you the wake-up call you need and keep you full until morning tea.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (250g) jalna lactose free natural or jalna lactose free vanilla yoghourt
  • 1 avocado, peeled with seed removed
  • 1 large granny smith apple, cored
  • 1 cup oats
  • juice of 1 lemon + a small grating of zest
  • 200 millilitre water

Method

    Blend Jalna yoghourt, avocado, apple, oats, lemon juice and zest for one minute in a high powered blender, scrape down the sides, add water and blend for another 20 seconds. Serve immediately.
