Gomashio originated in Japan and is an excellent seasoning for rice, soups, stews and vegetables.

Sesame salt (gomasio)
  • 1/4 cup (35g) white sesame seeds
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Method

Sesame salt (gomasio)

    Dry-fry seeds in medium frying pan until toasted; cool.

    Blend, process or grind seeds and salt until coarse.
