Decadent double-choc slice
  • 250 gram dark eating chocolate, melted
  • 1 1/4 cup (135g) coarsely chopped roasted walnuts
  • 150 gram dark eating chocolate, chopped coarsely
  • 3/4 cup (165g) firmly packed brown sugar
  • 3 eggs

    Grease 19cm x 29cm slice pan; line base and long sides with foil, extending foil 5cm over sides.

    Spread melted chocolate over base of pan; refrigerate until set.

    Preheat oven to 180°C/160°C fan-forced.

    Process nuts, chopped chocolate, sugar and eggs until combined. Pour nut mixture over chocolate base.

    Bake slice about 20 minutes; cool in pan. Remove from pan; carefully remove foil. Cut into squares.
