Margaritas are a refreshing must-have cocktail for Mexican Summer fiestas. They’re a perennial favourite of Deborah's, which is why she included this recipe in her new book, Entertaining Made Easy.

  • 30 millilitre tquila
  • 30 millilitre cointreau
  • 30 millilitre fresh lime juice
  • 1/2 cup ice-cubes
  • sea salt flakes, for rim of glass

    Pour tequila, Cointreau and lime juice over ice-cubes in a cocktail shaker; shake well.

    Salt the rim of a chilled cocktail glass.

    Pour the mixture with ice-cubes into glass. Garnish with lime wedges, if you like.
