Cream cheese frosting

Ingredients

Cream cheese frosting
  • 1/2 cup (80g) icing sugar
  • 60 gram cream cheese, softened
  • 1 orange or lemon, rind grated

Method

Cream cheese frosting
  • 1
    Gradually beat icing sugar into cream cheese until mixture is light and fluffy. Add grated rind to taste.

Notes

Instead of citrus rind, flavour the frosting with either 1 tablespoon citrus juice or 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract.
