Ingredients: 30 (40g) whole blanched almonds; 200 gram (6½ ounces) marzipan or almond paste; 125 gram (4 ounces) dark eating (semi-sweet) chocolate, melted

Method

1.Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan forced).

2.Roast nuts in single layer on oven tray about 5 minutes or until golden brown, cool.

3.Mould level teaspoons of paste around each nut. Place on wire rack, stand, uncovered, overnight, until dry to touch.

4.Using dipping forks, dip each nut into chocolate. Place nuts on foil-lined tray, set at room temperature.
