Ingredients

Chicken, avocado and camembert jaffle
  • 4 slices wholemeal bread (see tip)
  • 1/2 avocado, mashed
  • 1 cup (160g) cooked, sliced chicken
  • 1 tomato, sliced
  • 100 gram camembert, sliced
  • cooking oil spray

Method

Chicken, avocado and camembert jaffle

    Preheat sandwich maker or press according to manufacturer's instructions.

    Spread 2 slices bread with mashed avocado. Top with chicken, tomato and camembert. Finish with second slice of bread.

    Lightly spray sandwich maker with cooking oil. Place jaffles in sandwich maker and close. Cook, 5-10 minutes, until golden and crisp. Serve.

Notes

Soy and linseed bread is delicious for this jaffle. You could use barbecued chicken, leftover roast chicken or sliced chicken from your local deli or supermarket.
