Ingredients
2 cup milk
4 eggs
90 gram butter, melted
1/2 cup plain flour
1 cup grated tasty cheese
1/2 cup chopped ham
1/2 cup frozen spinach, thawed
1/2 cup chopped char-grilled capsicum, drained
2 green onions, chopped
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
salad, to serve
Method
1. Preheat oven to moderate, 180°C.
2. Lightly grease a deep, 25cm pie plate. In a large jug, whisk together milk, eggs and butter; season to taste.
3. Sift flour into a large bowl. Make a well in the centre and gradually whisk in milk mixture.
4. Mix in 1/2 cup cheese, ham, spinach (squeeze out any excess liquid first), capsicum, onion and parsley.
5. Spoon mixture into prepared pie plate. Sprinkle with remaining grated cheese; bake 45-50 minutes, until firm.
6. Serve pie in wedges with salad.
