Berry hazelnut crumbles
  • 2 cup (300g) frozen mixed berries
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup (60g) finely chopped roasted hazelnuts
  • 2 tablespoon plain flour
  • 20 gram cold butter
  • 1/4 cup (20g) rolled oats

    Preheat oven to 220°C. Grease 4 shallow ¾-cup (180ml) ovenproof dishes and place them on an oven tray.

    Combine berries, juice, half the sugar and half the nuts in medium bowl; divide mixture among dishes.

    Blend or process remaining sugar and nuts with flour and butter until ingredients come together; stir in oats. Sprinkle over berry mixture.

    Bake, uncovered, about 20 minutes or until browned lightly.


This crumble goes well with custard.
