Chow mein is a stir-fry noodle dish that is made in many different variations. Traditional chow mein is made with fried noodles, but we’ve used thin egg noodles and added to a stir fry of vegetables with minced beef and chow mein sauce.

1.Heat vegetable oil in wok; stir-fry beef, onion and garlic until beef is browned.
2.Add curry powder; stir-fry 1 minute or until fragrant. Add carrot, celery and mushrooms; stir-fry until vegetables soften.
3.Add chicken stock, oyster sauce, dark soy sauce, fresh egg noodles; stir-fry 2 minutes. Add peas and shredded wombok (napa cabbage); stir-fry until wombok just wilts.
