Banana smoothie

This banana smoothie is almost a meal in itself. Not only is it delicious and nutritious, you'll have made a healthy contribution to your five-a-day.

Ingredients

Banana smoothie
  • 2 coarsely chopped large bananas
  • 2 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 2 scoops vanilla ice-cream

Method

Banana smoothie

    Blend or process bananas,milk, honey and ice-cream until smooth. Serve in tall glasses.

Notes

Use overripe bananas for more sweetness; never use under ripe fruit because it won't puree well.
