Give your daily calcium and potassium intake a boost with this delicious banana smoothie. Enriched with the flavour and sweetness of honey and cinnamon and the goodness of wheatgerm, it's a meal in itself.

Banana smoothie
  • 2 cup skim milk,
  • 2 coarsely chopped medium bananas
  • 1/2 cup low-fat yogurt,
  • 1 tablespoon honey,
  • 1 tablespoon wheat germ
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon until smooth.

    Blend or process ingredients until smooth. Serve in tall glasses.


Use frozen bananas or add ice cubes to blender for a thicker smoothie.
