Baked beans, pesto and smoked cheddar jaffle

Try these cheesy baked bean toasted sandwiches for a delicious, quick lunch or snack. If you don't like smoked cheese, just use ordinary cheddar, or whichever hard cheese you prefer.

Ingredients

Baked beans, pesto and smoked cheddar jaffle
  • 4 slice (180g) white bread
  • 20 gram softened butter
  • 2 tablespoon basil pesto
  • 260 gram baked beans
  • 2 tablespoon coarsely grated smoked cheddar

Method

Baked beans, pesto and smoked cheddar jaffle

    Butter both sides of 4 slices bread with butter. Spread 2 bread slices with pesto. Top with baked beans and cheddar.

    Season; top with remaining bread. Toast in jaffle machine or sandwich press for 3 minutes or until golden.

Notes

These jaffles are not suitable to freeze.
