Avocado and banana smoothie
- 1 medium avocado (250g), halved, stone removed
- 1 medium banana (200g), quartered
- 1 cup (250ml) coconut water
- 1/2 cup (140g) greek-style yoghurt
- 1 tablespoon lime juice
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1/2 cup ice cubes
- 1/2 cup ice cubes, extra
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 2 tablespoon coconut flakes, toasted
Method
Avocado and banana smoothie
- 1Blend avocado, banana, coconut water, yoghurt, juice, honey and ice until smooth.
- 2Divide extra ice between two 1½-cup (375ml) glasses; pour in smoothie. Top with chia seeds and coconut flakes. Serve immediately. Garnish with strips of lime rind, if you like.
