Ingredients

Apple, pecan and quinoa bircher muesli
  • 1/2 cup (55g) quinoa flakes
  • 1/2 cup (125ml) water
  • 1 medium red-skinned apple
  • 1/4 cup (70g) yoghurt
  • 1 tablespoon agave nectar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 tablespoon roasted pecans

    Combine quinoa and the water in small bowl, cover; refrigerate about 1 hour or until quinoa is soft.

    Coarsely grate apple. Stir apple, yoghurt, nectar and extract into quinoa mixture. Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
