This salty anchovy, garlic and lemon butter is a gorgeous condiment that adds a touch of flavour to your choice of grilled steak, chicken or fish.

  • 125 grams softened butter
  • 2 crushed cloves garlic
  • 2 teaspoons finely grated lemon rind
  • 3 chopped anchovy fillets
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh flat-leaf parsley

    Beat softened butter in a small bowl with an electric mixer until light and creamy.

    Beat in garlic, lemon rind, anchovy fillets and parsley until combined. Season with freshly ground pepper.


Freeze butter up to 3 months. Thaw in the fridge; stand 30 minutes at room temperature before use.
