After-school smoothie

This filling, fruity, low-fat yoghurt smoothie is a great after-school drink for kids.

Ingredients

After-school smoothie
  • 1 small banana (130g)
  • 140 gram tub diced peaches in natural juice, drained
  • 1/2 cup (140g) low-fat vanilla yogurt
  • 1 cup (250ml) low-fat milk
  • 1 tablespoon wheatgerm

Method

After-school smoothie

    Blend or process ingredients until smooth. Serve immediately.

Notes

Not suitable to freeze. You can substitute the peaches with frozen mixed berries or 1 cheek of chopped fresh mango. This smoothie is best served immediately, as it will discolour after a while.
