1.Heat oil in medium saucepan, cook onion and garlic, stirring, until onion softens. Add pears, apricots, sultanas, cider vinegar, sugar and allspice. cook, uncovered, stirring occasionally, about 10 minutes or until mixture is thick and pulpy.
2.Meanwhile, cook 12 thick pork sausages on heated oiled grill plate (or grill or barbecue) until cooked through.
3.Serve sausages with fruit relish.
