Method

1.Heat oil in large saucepan. Stir daikon, potato and carrot over heat until browned lightly.
2.Add dashi and sauce, then bring to the boil. Reduce heat and simmer, uncovered, about 5 minutes or until carrot is tender. Add onion, beans, mushrooms and shoots. Simmer, uncovered until vegetables are tender.
3.Serve soup sprinkled with seven-spice mix.

Chicken stock can be substituted for dashi. You can add 100g tofu or 150g minced pork or chicken for a more substantial soup.
