Method

1.In a medium bowl, combine tomatoes, oil, sugar and garlic season with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
2.Heat oiled skillet; cook trout fillets 2 minutes each side (for rare) or until lightly browned and cooked as desired; remove, set aside. Wipe out skillet with paper towels.
3.Add tomato mixture to same skillet; cook over high heat, stirring, 2 minutes or until softened and lightly browned.
4.Serve fish topped with tomatoes; drizzle with vinegar and sprinkle with basil.
