Spaghetti with meatballs & cherry tomatoes

Dish up this classic kids' favourite for dinner and watch them devour it. Spaghetti and meatballs is well loved for good reason.

Method

1.Squeeze meat from sausages; roll meat into balls.
2.Cook meatballs in an oiled large frying pan over medium heat until browned all over. Add tomatoes, sauce and half the basil; bring to the boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, for 5 minutes or until meatballs are cooked through. Season to taste.
3.Meanwhile, cook spaghetti in a large saucepan of boiling water until tender; drain.
4.Combine sauce mixture, spaghetti and half the parmesan in a large bowl. Serve sprinkled with remaining parmesan and remaining basil.

Use flavoured sausages instead of plain. If you prefer, cook the sausages whole then slice and add to the tomato mixture.
