1.Boil, steam or microwave kumara until tender; drain. In a medium bowl, mash kumara with milk and half of the butter.
2.In a large frying pan, heat oil and remaining butter; cook chicken, in batches, for about 4-8 minutes, or until cooked through. Cover to keep warm.
3.Place wine in the same pan; bring to a boil. Stir in stock and cream; reduce heat, simmer, uncovered, for about 10 minutes, or until sauce thickens slightly. Stir in the hot water, thyme and nuts.
4.Meanwhile, boil, steam or microwave beans until tender; drain.
5.Serve chicken and sauce with mash and beans.
