Method

1.Prepare fries or chips according to packet instructions.
2.Meanwhile, place pepper and salt in a shallow dish; press onto both sides of steaks.
3.In a large frying pan, heat oil; cook steaks for about 5 minutes, or until browned on both sides and cooked as desired.
4.Remove from pan; cover.
5.Add stock to pan; simmer, uncovered, for about 5 minutes, or until reduced by half. Stir in cream.
6.Serve steaks with sauce and chips.

This recipe is best made close to serving.
