1.Make nougat ice-cream. Combine ice-cream and nougat in medium bowl. Freeze until required
2.Place wine, the water and sugar in large saucepan, cook, stirring, until sugar is dissolved. Bring to a boil, then boil, uncovered, 2 minutes. Reduce heat, add plums; simmer, covered with a round of baking paper, about 5 minutes or until plums are just tender. Transfer plums from pan to heatproof medium bowl.
3.Simmer syrup, uncovered, for about 5 minutes, or until thickened slightly; pour over plums.
4.Peel plums and serve with ice-cream and syrup.
