1.Stir cream, butter and brown sugar in a small saucepan, over medium heat, until smooth. Reduce heat, simmer, uncovered, for 2 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Meanwhile, beat an extra 1 cup thickened cream in a small bowl with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Divide half the sauce among four serving dishes; top with bananas, vanilla ice-cream, remaining sauce and extra whipped cream; sprinkle over almonds.
