These sweet, soft pretzels aren’t as tricky as they look, and the reward of eating them is worth the extra effort!

Pearl sugar, also known as nib sugar, is a coarse white form of sugar traditionally used in European baking. It is available from cake decorating stores. Substitute demerara sugar or use crushed sugar cubes.
