This tart is a thing of pure indulgence, perfect with a cup of tea, a dollop of cream, and a few berries.

Use a chocolate with 70 percent cocoa solids for an intense chocolate taste, which may be softened with the addition of a generous pinch of salt in the filling ingredients, or swap to at least 45 percent cocoa solids.
