1.Preheat oven to 220°C (200°C fan-forced). Grease medium-deep 22cm-square baking dish.
2.Layer a third of the potato over base of dish; sprinkle over a third of the onion and a third of the anchovy. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of the juice. Repeat with remaining potato, onion, anchovy and juice. Pour over cream; sprinkle breadcrumbs and parsley over top then dot with butter.
3.Bake, covered, about 1 hour or until potato is tender. Uncover; bake about 15 minutes or until browned lightly.

This is our take on the traditional Swedish recipe of the same name. Even if you’re not a lover of anchovies, we’re certain you’ll love this dish. Try serving this dish with a green salad, dressed with a lemon vinaigrette.
